Operations and environmental policy

The business concept of Sepa Oy is to design, manufacture and deliver nail plate trusses, investing at the same time to the quality of the operations, products and services in order to achieve a sufficient economical result. In our operating policy we have defined the quality and environmental goals, objects and means by which we endeavour to reach the targets.

Our quality target is to be the leading manufacturer of nail plate structures in Finland. The basis for the realisation of the target are:

• Competitiveness
• Reliability of the deliveries
• The high know-how level of the products and innovation

Our environmental target is the lowest possible loading of the environment which we seek by:

• Active follow-up and actions concerning the environmental effects of the operations
• Optimising materials, raw materials and energy used in our operations in order to save natural resources.
• Actively guiding the product and service procurements to such partners who pay attention the environmental aspects.

In our operations we enforce the current laws, and the decrees and regulations based on them and obligations which the company has bound itself.

Achieving the objectives enabling the goals of our operating policy to be reached requires tight co-operation of the whole personnel. Company management is obliged to the operating policy by creating the conditions for the personnel:

• Co-operation
• Quality and environmental awareness
• Professionalism and know-how with sufficient rights

The whole personnel is committed to the operating policy by:

• Acting according the objectives of the operations policy
• Communicating the observed quality and environmental deviations to the attention of the operation responsible person without delay

For ensuring the quality and the operations, the company has a quality system according to SFS-EN ISO 9001:2000 standard and an environmental system according to SFS-EN ISO 14001 standard. Products and performance are monitored nationally in audits by SFS-Sertifiointi Oy, proof of which is that all the Sepa products are NR stamped.

In addition to these certificates we have been awarded also the German iBMB/MPA certificate and the Russian GOST-R correspondence certificate, to be found under group "certificates".
