Instruction of truss receiving and storage (in Finland)

- - 01_yhdistelma.jpgRoof trusses are delivered to the building site by a full trailer or half trailer truck for which a free passage must be arranged.
- - 02_yhd_alusta.jpgThe cargo can be unloaded quickly on ready made beddings. Loading pallets at both ends make a suitable bedding.
- - 03_tuenta.jpgIt is worth while to nail some planks as support to smaller truss bundles.
- - 04-purku.jpg

Roof trusses under 18 meters are unloaded with the truck's own unloading equipment. The reach of the equipment is 5 to 7 metres, depending on the truck and the size of the truss bundle. Our driver will unload the cargo on a marked, even place and on ready placed beddings.

NOTE! Unloading of trusses over 18 meters long must be agreed separately.

- - 05_purku.jpgRoof trusses are bundled together by steel belts. Width of a bundle is normally under 1 meter (one truss is approx. 5 cm wide).
- - 06_peitto.jpgImmediately after delivery the trusses must be protected from rain. The bundled trusses are supported vertically so that they do not fall down. A sufficient ventilation space must, however, be left under the trusses.
