During recent years, we have invested strongly in the development of our infrastructural product segment. As a result, we have developed several innovative solutions especially for the design, manufacturing and installation of noise barriers. Along with this development work, the characteristics regarding sound insulation, reflectiveness and absorption have all improved significantly.
As a material, the spruce timber we use to construct our noise barriers is an ecological choice, and it enables a span of up to 6.5 metres. The external cladding can be made in accordance with the customer’s individual needs and wishes.
Sepa’s noise barriers comply with the requirements of the EN14388 standard which includes the service-life requirements set forth by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. Our noise barriers also have statements by VTT TECHNICAL RESEARCH CENTRE OF FINLAND LTD on the required strengths with regard to wind and ploughing loads.
