SCISSORS TRUSS

The inclined bottom chord of the scissors truss allows more space under the roof structure.

Scissors trusses can be used, for example, in one-family houses and various machine shelters. The maximum width of the truss bottom chord is 20 metres.

The recommended inclinations for the bottom chords of scissors trusses are:

Support division c/c 900 mm
Top chord: 1:4 => bottom chord 1:7
Top chord: 1:3 => bottom chord 1:6
Top chord: 1:2.5 => bottom chord 1:5
Top chord: 1:2 => bottom chord 1:4
